PC Gaming Accessory Guide 2020

Well, we’ve made it to 2020 and it’s around that time that people decide to make some changes. I was thinking what better way to kick off the new year than talking about something fun, Your PC gaming setup in 2020.

We at TLR Technology are extremely lucky that we get to review so many awesome PC accessories. Keyboards, mice, monitors, etc. So this is going to be a quick no none sense guide of products that I found that work. I do need to confess up front that this is going to revolve around one seller in particular that sent us a hand full of products to review. However!, It has nothing to do with the fact that they sent us anything at all, its because the products they sent are some of the best in the market. I hope it all makes sense and that you choose to support those that support us.

Disclaimer: These thoughts are my own and have not been submitted for review. In fact, the Amazon vendor that I’ll be mentioning has no idea that this article is in the works.

Now that I’ve gotten that out the way. I want to keep this short and sweet. If anyone has any questions about any of the products that I mention comment in the section below.

Top Keyboard Picks Going Into 2020

Durgod Hades 68. Basically a 60% keyboard with arrow keys in aluminium chassis.

We at TLR have had no less than 15 keyboards pass under our fingers in 2019. The best of the bunch is the Dugod hades 68. If you want RGB, arrow keys, in a premium package with a ton of mechanical key switch choices at a more than fair price look no further. The Hades 68 has been on my desk since I reviewed it. In fact, I ordered keycaps and desk pad for it that I won’t receive it until Feb or March. 6 months after I placed the order. However, it will be worth the wait. You can read our full review here.

GK61 optical 60% mechanical keyboard

The second runner up is the GK61, also sold by HK gaming. It’s cheap, durable, and hot-swappable (this uses optical switch). It is no coincidence that it’s one of the most-read reviews on our website. Viewed thousands of times. If you’re on a tight budget then the GK61 is your choice. Read our review of the GK61 here.

Fantastic full size mechanical keyboard with PBT key caps.

If you want a keyboard that you can use in your workplace, or you need a full size, or you just don’t like RGB that choice is again easy. The Durgod Taurus K320 we reviewed has been the main keyboard used by TLR, it is her keyboard of choice. Its software is one of the best, the build is great, the keycaps are PBT and feel fantastic. Along with its full size comes tons of built-in short cut keys for all your media controls and volume. Check out our review here.

I know I might sound like a fanboy for HK Gaming but the reality is that HK Gaming partners with some of the best known and unknown brands and brings them to the Amazon market at a price that most people can afford. In my opinion this is a great way to start off a new PC gaming setup in 2020.

Top Gaming Mouse Going Into 2020

G-Wolves Hati, a lightweight mouse that will redefine what you consider value.

When it comes to mice the same rules apply. I started the year using the Corsair m65 RGB elite that I reviewed here but I ended it using the G-Wolves Hati that was shipped to us for review by HK. Again a fantastic product line that was picked up and is sold by HK gaming. A mouse that totally redefined what I’d call value. Again, you can read our full review here.

Go To Keyboard Accessories

The last thing is the accessories. If you want to add some flair or protection to your new setup HK Gaming again has you covered… Literally.

We use a gang of the Vortex Pok3r travel cases to keep all our keyboards safe and dust-free when they aren’t being used. Another keyboard accessory that may appeal to you is a set of custom PBT keycaps if so HK  Gaming has you covered including double shot PBT pudding keycaps.

If you’re looking for more accessories for you gaming/ work setup We’ll be posting our review of the Secret Lab Omega 2020 and Respawn Raven Xi gaming chairs… Spoiler alert they are both fantastic at their price points.

Let me wrap up the PC gaming setup in 2020. I’ll link to all the products mentioned below. In the name of full disclosure, we might get a small kickback from any purchases that are made. Again I’m only recommending these products because we use them daily, AND… more importantly, they are some of the best products in their category in our opinion. However, we get the newest tech in our hands all the time. So, like last years you can expect the hardware we use may change a few times throughout the year. Stay tuned to TLR Technology to see what stays on our desk, and what changes in 2020. All I can say with a lot of certainty is that its going to take quite a bit to bump the Accessories mentioned off our deck.
