First Up, Montblanc Summit 2 Using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100
Finally after the announcement back in September we now know the first smartwatch that will be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100. Montblanc first to release their luxury smartwatch, Summit 2. This smartwatch is definitely not priced at the usual $179 to $349 price range. It’s starting at $995. Holy…! There are tech bloggers saying that at this price it will struggle as the Apple “Edition” series of watches. With that said, let’s get into some specs to see if this Luxury smartwatch is worth it to you.
Montblanc Summit 2 is set to be a unisex watch with a 42mm size. This smartwatch will be running the latest WearOS by Google. Will include exclusive apps for all of the business travelers, fitness enthusiasts, and explorers. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 processor will create the best performance, improved battery life, and access to new features set for this luxury watch. While this is a smartwatch, it still has the look and feel of Montblanc luxury timepieces.
The Montblanc Summit 2 is water resistant (50 meters/5 ATM). It has the Sapphire scratch-resistant cover glass. Display is a full circle AMOLED 390 x 390. Compatible with both iOS & Android smartphones. Looks like power will last a full day and up to 5 days in time only mode. It will have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. This smartwatch will have heart rate monitor capabilities. NFC is available on the Montblanc Summit 2, so you can use Google Pay where it is accepted.
